So what's this journal thing all about. I don't know, but I've been told to write to it but a lady named Faye.

I might as well write something worthwhile, unfortunately I don't think I can. Well I already thought of the subject for this thing so here goes.

WHAT IS ART?

Art is man's pursuit to express his desires, perceptions, and thoughts in the most pretentious way possible. It could be blurted out through simple phrases such as 'I like political stability?' 'The walls appear to be breathing' and 'I don't know what I'm doing'. Instead, people seem to take paint to canvas, and draw something totally inane like a dwarf riding griffinback through an unimaginative snowy landscape populated by emaciated green creatures which apparently have nothing better to do than steal the artists gold. (At this point they have to chosen to place themselves in the picture as said dwarf, or griffin if they're kinky. Which a lot of people on this site really are. And by kinky I mean attracted to anthropomorphic lioness which stand suspiciously upright all the time). As I think I was saying it's very hard to find something with any meaning. The politics section here might help, but it's usually just pictures of guns superimposed onto the same picture of the earth. Or a child holding a rose which is covered in the blood of veal and the blubber of seals with the phrase 'will the murder ever be seen for what it truly is'.

It's been quite hypocritical for me to write this, since I've said nothing of value but as I stated before I was told to. And in relation to the subject, the things that catch my fancy on this site are well lit 3D cubes with soft shadows that show how much work has gone into rendering a cube with a shadow.
